Would recommend for exploring town

Clean room, comfortable shower, with friendly staff who provided excellent breakfast and easy access to luggage storage for our one-night stay.

Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere in the pub, with a decent selection of local beers, which offered a nice touch. The outdoor seating area provided a peaceful spot, allowing for a calm escape after a long day.

The twin room I stayed in could use some attention. A soiled toilet from previous guests raised cleanliness concerns, and the shower drained slowly, which could be annoying for someone with less patience. With the pub closed, food options were limited, and nearby establishments were either shut or not serving food, making dinner planning a hassle. Though the experience overall wasn't terrible, it felt overpriced for what was on offer.

Amazing Family Stay!

We had a fab time with our little one! The staff were super nice, even sang along with my daughter. The early breakfast was promptly ready, and the cozy pub was nearby for evening drinks. Only issue was the room setup was kinda cramped for a family of three. Will def come back when in the area!

Although I enjoyed my stay, there were some disappointments. The breakfast choices were quite limited, offering only a normal or vegetarian full English, which felt uninviting. no juices or buffets were offered, leaving a dull taste in my mouth, despite the fact that the food we did receive was enjoyable. It felt like a missed opportunity for something greater and more engaging.

Absolutely loved the cozy twin room and the vibrant atmosphere in the bar. The locally sourced food was fantastic, especially the sticky toffee pudding, a must-try!

On the downside, the bathroom lighting was a bit dim, making it a challenge for grooming. The extractor fan also created some noise, which was distracting. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall comfort and quality of food made my visit enjoyable.
